It’s been a minute. Okay, more like a few months. Okay, over a year. But I promise I haven’t disappeared completely—it’s just that life’s million little distractions quietly piled up and writing was forced to take a back seat.
But as much as I tried to convince myself otherwise, I really, really missed writing. And maybe even more than that, I missed the connections I’ve made over the years with the book community.
So consider this my official I’m back wave 👋
I’m easing back into the writing groove and getting reacquainted with my characters (they’ve been waiting very impatiently). No bold declarations or deadlines…just a slow, steady return to the part of me that feels most like home.
I won’t pretend I have a big plan or polished updates to share—but I am writing again, and that feels pretty great. No promises, no pressure. Just me, my laptop, and way too much coffee. Here’s to fresh starts, blank pages, and reconnecting.
Thanks for sticking with me. ❤️
Bonus: Reader Review That Made Me Cry Happy Tears
Every so often, a reader puts into words exactly what you hoped your book might make someone feel—and then they do it better than you ever could.
I recently came across this amazing review of Can’t Take It Back on (of all places) Goodreads, and, not gonna lie, it made me cry. Not the ugly sobbing kind, but that slow, grateful kind where your heart swells a bit because someone got it.
That’s the dream, right? To write something that doesn’t just fill pages but settles in someone’s chest and stays there. Knowing I did that for at least one reader (and hopefully more) fills my author heart with joy.
