I honestly can’t believe I’ve kept this secret for so long! 😬 Okay, where to start…
Five years ago, I typed “The End” on what I hoped would become my second traditionally published novel. Written during the pandemic, this book was a true labour of love…equal parts heartbreak and healing. It broke me open more than once yet somehow stitched me back together as well. I had such high hopes for this story.
But my timing was brutal. The market was hungry for light rom-coms and no editor knew how to position a novel about love, loss and resilience in the middle of such global uncertainty. The feedback from editors was kind, but the doors stayed shut. Watching the book slowly die on submission was devastating.
I promised myself that one day Eleanor’s story would see the light. That day is finally here.

All You Have To Do publishes one month from today on October 24. Why the quick turnaround? Because after five years of waiting, I couldn’t wait another minute.
Pre-orders are open now for the ebook (print arrives October 24; I’m working on getting it into bookstores and libraries—stay tuned). Check out my website for order links.
Wondering what All You Have To Do is about? Well, wonder no longer…
The hardest part of starting over is deciding where to begin.
Eleanor Nolan thought losing her son was the worst heartbreak she’d ever endure—until she discovers her husband’s hidden letters, unraveling the fragile foundation of their marriage.
Shattered and desperate for space, she retreats to a quiet coastal town where her mother and friends, both old and new, surround her with love. Slowly, Eleanor begins to piece her life back together and imagine a future she thought she’d lost.
But healing is never simple. When long-buried secrets resurface, Eleanor’s fragile new beginning is put at risk. To move forward, she must summon the strength to face the truth about her past or risk losing everything she’s only just begun to rebuild.
For fans of Liane Moriarty and Jodi Picoult, All You Have To Do is a deeply moving story of grief, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds that carry us through our darkest moments.
(Fun fact: one character from Can’t Take It Back makes a cameo…you’ll have to read to find out who!)
Thank you for sticking with me through this loooooong gap between books. I can’t wait for you to meet Eleanor and the people who help her find her way forward.
More news to come. Exciting times ahead.
💛 Kelly
